DESCRIPTION:
Join our organization as a Facilities Specialist I and contribute to maintaining and optimizing our facilities. Youll ensure the smooth operation of critical infrastructure while supporting our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier cleaner and this position youll manage building systems including HVAC coordinate with vendors oversee maintenance activities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Youll maintain critical equipment including HVAC electrical plumbing refrigeration and security systems. Youll coordinate preventive maintenance handle repairs manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. This role offers opportunities to contribute to facility upgrades sustainability initiatives and process improvements while developing your facilities management expertise.

REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma and 5 years of experience; OR bachelors degree and no experience required.
Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering Facilities Management or related technical field
Industry certifications in facilities management trades or relevant technical areas are a plus
Advanced knowledge of building systems including HVAC electrical plumbing and controls a plus
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems and work order tracking
Strong understanding of safety protocols regulatory compliance and GMP requirements a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and facilities management software
Ability to read and understand technical drawings P&IDs and system schematics
Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating maintenance contracts a plus
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Problem-solving mindset with ability to work independently
Available for emergency response and occasional off-hours support
Physical ability to perform inspections and basic maintenance tasks
Valid drivers license required
Willingness to be on-call rotation as needed

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $30.70$46.05.
