CT / X-Ray Technologist Permanent (Day Shift)
Location -Craig CO
Pay Range -$56326to$70000 Yearly
Position Summary:
The CT/X-Ray Technologist provides high-quality diagnostic imaging services using multiple imaging modalities. This role ensures accurate image acquisition patient safety and exceptional patient care while following established imaging protocols and regulatory standards. The technologist educates patients on procedures and supports optimal clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray fluoroscopy C-arm and operating room imaging.
Follow departmental imaging protocols or radiologist-directed exam protocols.
Practice radiation safety in compliance with ALARA principles.
Operate imaging equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate service support when needed.
Verify imaging orders and confirm patient identity using two identifiers.
Educate patients on procedures and equipment prior to imaging.
Review and document patient medical history and obtain informed consent when required.
Ensure all required documentation paperwork and prior imaging studies are available before submitting exams for interpretation.
Accurately document procedures charges and supplies in the electronic health record (EHR).
Assist with clerical tasks patient transport and phone coverage as needed.
Maintain imaging supply inventory including ordering and stocking supplies.
Cross-train assist or support imaging team members as directed.
Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling including assisting in other modalities overtime call or holiday shifts as required.
Complete additional training or certifications as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Communicate effectively with patients staff and vendors using verbal and written communication.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Adhere to dress code attendance and workplace policies.
Complete required annual education training and competency requirements.
Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Follow all infection control safety and risk management procedures.
Ensure compliance with departmental facility state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum age requirement as defined by position responsibilities.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to pass background screening and pre-employment health requirements.
Education Licensure & Certifications (Required):
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Active ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Cross-training or experience in additional modalities such as CT MRI DEXA or Mammography.
Experience using PACS RIS and electronic health record systems.
