NVH Simulation Engineer

Location: Belgium Hybrid / On-site possible

Your role

As an NVH Simulation Engineer you will focus on virtual NVH analysis to optimize gear and system-level designs. Your simulation expertise will directly support the development of next-generation transmissions. You will work on creating predictive models validating them against test data and helping design engineers achieve NVH targets across components and systems.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain NVH simulation models for transmissions (gear whine gear mesh excitation rattle torsional dynamics structure-borne and airborne noise paths).
• Perform modal harmonic and forced response analyses at component subsystem and system level.
• Correlate simulation results with bench rig and vehicle test data and drive model improvements.
• Support design optimization of gears shafts bearings housings and electric motors with NVH targets in mind.
• Contribute to supplier technical reviews and validation activities related to NVH performance.

Who you are

• Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in NVH CAE simulation within automotive driveline or powertrain development.
• Hands-on experience with CAE tools such as MASTA Ansa Abaqus Nastran and Excite M.
• Solid understanding of vibration theory acoustics and signal processing.
• Strong knowledge of transmission systems gears bearings and rotating machinery.
• Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment and able to communicate technical results clearly.
• Curious proactive and passionate about advancing NVH solutions in complex automotive systems.
