Position Summary:
As a Facilities/Maintenance Engineer Intern you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that can include plant optimization new equipment installation industrial equipment troubleshooting and more. This position offers the chance to be exposed to a manufacturing environment that includes forging saw cutting heat treating etc.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Collaborate with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Assist in developing maintenance documentation including procedures and safety documents.
- Create/update 2D and 3D CAD files.
- Assist with capital projects to maintain or upgrade facility equipment.
- Assist with capital projects to install new equipment.
- Collaborate with the safety team on various projects.
- Represents maintenance on cross-functional teams.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulation.

- Drive determination and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results; able to work independently without close supervision

- Experienced with AutoCAD / SolidWorks
Experience & Education:
- Sophomore junior or senior college student earning a bachelors degree in manufacturing mechanical industrial aerospace or a similar engineering field.
- Cumulative G.P.A of 2.8 or higher.
