Job Summary
Data Engineer / AI Engineer TS/SCI
Multiple Locations Mission-Critical Programs $150K$210K
Overview:
We are actively building a pipeline of elite Data Engineers and AI Engineers (TS/SCI) to support next-generation programs across DoD and Intelligence Community environments.
This role sits at the forefront of:
- Data engineering at scale
- AI/ML platform development
- Real-time analytics and decision systems

What Youll Do:
- Design and build scalable data pipelines (batch and real-time)
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Python and SQL
- Work with large-scale datasets across distributed environments
- Support development of AI/ML models and data pipelines
- Integrate data systems into cloud-native platforms (AWS Azure GovCloud)
- Implement data governance security and compliance frameworks
- Optimize performance reliability and scalability of data systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven and AI-enabled solutions
What You Bring:
- Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance (required)
- 5 years of experience in data engineering analytics or AI/ML engineering
- Strong proficiency in:
- Python and SQL
- Data pipeline development and optimization
- Experience with:
- Cloud platforms (AWS Azure or similar)
- Distributed data systems (Spark Hadoop or similar)
- Experience working in classified regulated or mission-critical environments
Preferred:
- CI or FS Polygraph
- Experience with:
- AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow PyTorch Scikit-learn)
- Data orchestration tools (Airflow Prefect)
- Streaming technologies (Kafka Kinesis)
- Exposure to:
- MLOps / AI infrastructure
- Data governance and security frameworks
- Experience supporting DoD IC or federal programs
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $150K $210K
- Higher for poly-cleared AI-focused or senior-level candidates
- Full benefits long-term program stability
