Job Title: Psychiatrist

Compensation: 60% of Net Collections; (Estimated earning potential of up to $325000)
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (practice requirement of 30 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Location: This is an in person role based out of Lake Mary FL

Role Summary

APG Health is seeking a highly qualified bilingual preferred (Spanish-speaking) Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD) to join our thriving private practice in Lake Mary FL. Our ideal candidate is an experienced clinician who is passionate about providing comprehensive psychiatric care across the lifespanages 5 through 80in an outpatient setting.


Psychiatrist Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations diagnoses and treatment plans for patients in the outpatient setting.
  • Provide medication management and therapy to a diverse patient population.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in psychiatric treatment and research methodologies.
  • Make referrals for psychotherapy when indicated and collaborate with all other mental health professionals involved in the patients care to ensure comprehensive treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records completely all documentation in compliance with legal/ethical standards.
  • Advocate for clients needs and rights including access to psychiatric services and medications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Active unrestricted medical license in Florida
  • Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD required)
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking provider preferred as based on client need
  • Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications including controlled substances;
  • Minimum of 2 years experience treating children adolescents adults and older adults (ages 580) in private practice
  • Strong understanding of psychiatrist assessment diagnosis medication management and therapeutic techniques
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions in psychiatric treatment
