Required: Bachelors Degree AND:
- 48 months of program development program management or related experience.
Equivalency/Substitution: We will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree for a total of 96 months of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in Higher Education Administration or related fields (e.g. Human Relations Student Affairs Educational Leadership Conflict Resolution).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with with electronic student conduct information management systems; Maxient preferred.
- Knowledge Areas: Thorough knowledge of Student Affairs Student Conduct Student Life and Residence Life.
Key Skills:
- Exceptional ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including students faculty staff parents media and community partners.
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities workflows and deadlines effectively.
- Strong analytical skills for synthesizing complex information including State and Federal regulations and resolving sensitive issues including issues of complex and extreme political sensitivity.
- Ability to inspire teach and influence others; adept at conflict mediation and team supervision.
- Committed to fostering an inclusive supportive campus environment; strong initiative to solve problems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experienced in metrics assessment and reporting.
- Familiarity with conflict resolution restorative justice and fraternity/sorority systems.
- Skilled in interpreting policies and regulations; ensures adherence to state and federal guidelines.
- Ability to build cross-campus relationships and work effectively with interdepartmental teams; demonstrated administrative and political acumen.

As the Associate Director of the Office of Student Conduct you will oversee the universitys student conduct process for individual and organizational misconduct cases with an overall purpose of promoting a culture of care and responsibility and ensuring a safe inclusive and meaningful college experience.
- Conduct Administration: Acts as system administrator for student conduct database (Maxient) responsible in the implementation and administration of the University student conduct process for students and organizational misconduct acts as primary hearing officer and investigator; manages student conduct database; ensures compliance with policies and procedures for all case types and resolution processes.
- Policy & Community Engagement: Aligns policies to foster an inclusive safe campus experience including community standards and risk prevention; collaborates with campus partners (Law enforcement Athletics Residence Life Student Life Institutional Equity Office).
- Leadership & Strategic Oversight: Assists in providing leadership and strategic oversight of the Student Rights and Responsibilities Code strategic planning and goal setting; resolves Code violations with students faculty and stakeholders; conducts strategic planning and develops long and short-term goals.
- Investigations: Works closely with students faculty staff and internal/external stakeholders in the resolution of Code violations; develops prompt and equitable investigation plans identifies and interviews parties/witnesses maintains accurate records prepares reports and catalogs history in relevant information systems.
- Program Development & Assessment: Analyzes assessment data and benchmarking trends for program improvement; designs impactful sanctions; coordinates and facilitates outreach programs on conflict resolution and conduct policies; conducts national benchmarking and provides accreditation support.
- Professional Development: Stays current with best practices through conferences workshops self-paces professional reading and networking.
- Supervision & Management: Supervises 2 full-time staff; sets performance goals; oversees hiring training evaluation and project management.
- Administrative Duties: Collaborates with departments and agencies; manages documentation reporting and program effectiveness; develops goals and objectives.
- Performs various related duties to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
