Job Summary
Job Title: Dental Assistant
Location: Edison NJ
Job Type: Contract
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $20$30 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support clinical and administrative operations in a professional dental setting. The ideal candidate will assist with patient care maintain accurate records and ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
Prepare and maintain patient charts using an EMR system
Take and process digital radiographs; ensure radiology equipment is properly maintained
Monitor and manage dental supply inventory
Assist with front desk tasks including scheduling phone support and patient check-in
Clean and sanitize treatment rooms in compliance with infection control standards
Support patient comfort and provide reassurance throughout treatment
Collaborate effectively with staff and maintain professional conduct
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant Training Program
Active New Jersey Dental Radiology License required
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant
