DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

UW Medicine Supply Chain Management enhances our patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services operational and technical support and the sharing of comprehensive relevant and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Make sure healthcare providers at the No. 1 Hospital in WA State have access to vital medical supplies and equipment

  • Serve as an important contributor supporting the patient care experience

  • Exceptional benefits including health insurance retirement plans etc.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBLIITIES

  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general medical and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital

  • Manage rental equipment using Supply Chain point-of-use (POU) systems

  • Use tech like handhelds package scanners and Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) to ensure proper inventory and cost allocations

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements such as a license certification and/or registration.

Compensation Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$45432.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$61152.00 annual
