In Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) we integrate verify and validate our products. We put our systems together exercise them in the lab or in the field measure and analyze performance and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces develop test environments and work together with our customers. Our team is seeking a Lab Lead to be part of our Lab Support section. The Lab Lead will be responsible for managing Engineering Labs located in North Texas / McKinney site that develops and tests product for multiple mission areas. This is an onsite role in McKinney TX.

What You Will Do

• Coordination and execution of SI&T engineering Lab requirements.
• Maintaining and standardizing lab infrastructure to meet program requirements. Responsibilities also include supporting AS 9100/ISO 9001 audits DCMA audits and EHS audits.
• Ensure lab personnel operate to standard lab run rules and applicable SI&T policies within the lab ensuring compliance with Safety Quality controls 6S FOD/FOE Equipment Calibration Raytheon Property controls ESD controls Housekeeping Shelf-life Controls Preventative Maintenance and Ergonomics.
• Manage logistics of various SI&T competing contract requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with lab safety
• Experience with 6S and/or Housekeeping.
• Experience with the Quality processes regarding test equipment calibration requirements and AS 9100/ISO 9001 audits.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Asset Management Systems experience (Aramis and SAP)
• Working Knowledge of SI&T lab run rules policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of ESD Controls (Garment control wrist straps SSWS and monitoring)
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word Excel PowerPoint Project)
• Highly motivated self-starter; Can work independently with minimum supervision.
• Trouble Shooting Skills.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
