The Toyota Financial Services Technology Operations Center is looking for a passionate and highly motivatedSite Reliability Engineer Lead SoftwareDeveloper.
Reporting to the Manager of SREObservability the individual in this role will be focused on operating and automating scalable resilient AWS infrastructure. You will work with core AWS services such as EKS LambdaEC2EKS andFargate driving self-healing automation observability and CI/CD pipeline integration.
This role embodies SRE best practices to ensure reliability performance and operational excellence of cloud-native platforms supporting our business-critical applications. Furthermore the engineer will work closely with the Cloud Platform Development Teams ProductionEngineeringand Major Incident Management team to address and resolve issues within the production environment.
Whatyoullbe doing
Engagingtechnical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs
Execute creative infrastructure solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Partneracross Architecture Engineering Dev and SRE functions
Contribute to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies
Participate in architecture governance bodies
Develop secure high-quality production code
Identifyopportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of infrastructure appl applications and systems
What you bring
10 years in applicationdevelopmentor platform engineering with at least 3 years in observability/SRE-related initiatives.
Proven experience with distributed systems cloud-native platforms (AWS Azure GCP) andmicroservicesarchitectures.
Strongexpertisewith observability tools and frameworks (Datadog Dynatrace Grafana Prometheus ELKOpenTelemetry etc.).
Solid knowledge of SRE practices including SLO/SLI development error budgets incidentmanagement and chaos engineering.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines Kubernetes containers andInfrastructure asCode(Terraform HelmAnsibleetc.).
Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and drive cross-functional alignment
In-depth knowledge of diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles
Good experiencearchitecting large scale mission critical cloud-native applications for enterprises.
Added bonusif you have
Certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Knowledge of integration of tools and technologies likemulesoft Camel message streaming services.
