  • Base salary range: $104243 $115661 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

Payroll Operations within People & Culture is responsible for delivering accurate timely and compliant payroll services to the University community. The team operates in a complex highvolume environment and is committed to providing professional responsive and customerfocused service.

About the opportunity

  • Lead the Payroll Operations team to deliver accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with University policies employment legislation and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Provide expert advice and support on complex payroll and HR matters working closely with business units to resolve queries and ensure smooth operational outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives streamline processes and foster a serviceoriented culture focused on professionalism efficiency and customer experience.

About you

  • You have relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience with substantial administrative experience in Human Resources or payroll environments.
  • You bring strong technical payroll knowledge and demonstrated experience working in a highvolume compliancedriven environment.
  • You have proven leadership capability including experience supervising mentoring and developing staff to build team capability and performance.
  • You are highly organised detailoriented and able to manage competing priorities while meeting service standards and deadlines.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills a strong customerservice ethos and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.

Special Requirements

  • Current National Police Clearance Certificate.
  • Employment checks will include information on gender-based violence sexual harassment and related misconduct to meet legal obligations.
