Assist the Quality Manager in implementing and maintaining the Quality System.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for updating TS 16949 documentation and communicating the related information through out the organization.
2. Ensures TS 16949 procedures are followed in the inspection and testing activities.
3. Responsible for measuring parts for specification compliance.
4. Responsible for test equipment calibration and maintenance.
5. Ensure the employees assigned to various manufacturing areas have the necessary technical skills to perform their jobs.
6. Assists Quality Manager in finding root cause for internal and external quality problems and implementing actions to prevent them.
7. Generates SPC and capability study reports for all applicable parts per customer request.
8. Follow the safety rules report safety problems and all injuries regardless of severity.
9. Ensure plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards are maintained.
10. Manage and direct personnel as required.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Four-year engineering degree or high school diploma plus ten years experience in quality or equivalent. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) PPAP submissions Gage R&R studies and Root Cause Analysis. Computer knowledge.
