REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years Oracle and Microsoft SQL DBA experience
• Clearance requirement: Top Secret Clearance

TheTekSynap is seeking aDatabase Administratortoprovide enterprise database administration support for Oracle and Microsoft SQL systems supporting DON OA applications and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provideenterprise database administrationfor Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments supporting DON OA applications.

• Perform routine and advanced DBA functions includingperformance tuning backups recovery archiving and patching.

• Design createmodify andmaintaindatabases to support bothlegacy and future systems.

• Implement and manageautomated DBA processesto improve reliability efficiency and consistency.

• Ensure database security throughaccess controls monitoring and compliance with DoD/DON security requirements.

• Support backend database development and integration efforts in coordination with application developers and system engineers.

• Maintainaccurateand up-to-datedatabase documentation schemas and configuration records.

• Support data cataloging initiatives by coordinating with Information Owners to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Assistwith troubleshooting database-related incidents andparticipatein root cause analysis as.
