Are you an accomplished and results-driven Microsoft Business Applications sales professional with a strong track record of driving revenue growth Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing software services company in Midrand Gauteng. This is a key role for a strategic thinker who can identify market opportunities and turn them into tangible business success.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients understanding their needs and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Microsoft Solutions Expertise: Leverage your experience selling Microsoft products and solutions to identify opportunities and drive adoption among enterprise clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business unit managers to ensure that proposals and solutions align with client requirements.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure including contract and pricing negotiations.
  • Sales Collateral Development: Collaborate with marketing and other teams to create impactful sales materials case studies and presentations.
  • Market Insight: Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activity providing insights and recommendations to the management team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience selling Microsoft products and related software solutions to enterprise clients.
  • Strong understanding of the software services industry including development methodologies and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
