Tokyo Wholesale Operations Technology group is part of a global team that provides technology solutions to middle and back-office processing of securities and derivatives products for the firm. Its functional domain includes trade processing settlement and payments regulatory reporting and external connectivity to Swift and other market infrastructure.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join us as a full-stack engineer who can work closely with our business users in Japan to support their business process transformation by designing and implementing Technology solution through agile development.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Build and maintain close relationships with business users to understand their requirements.
Propose design and implement Technology solutions to drive business process transformation for Securities middle- and back-office function.
Maintenance and enhancement of existing applications and toolsets for above function including re-engineering of those applications for continuous improvement.
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience working in the IT industry.
Strong hands-on coding skills in Java/Spring framework and Python.
Proficient in writing unit and integration tests.
Familiar with CI/CD practices and tools contributing to streamlined development processes.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with IT and non-IT stakeholders.
Strong analytical skill to analyze complex problems and articulate solutions.
Self-starter with passion for improvement/innovation and willingness to learn and implement new technologies.
