The contracted athletic trainer/physical therapist will assist with athletic training staff with all aspects of treating injuries and managing rehabilitation of professional football players employed by the club. The ATC/PT will assist with the management of medical supplies inventory and assist the athletic training staff with ordering. The ATC/PT will be responsible for ensuring proper hydration and fueling is available to all players prior to during and after practice. The employee will assist in preventative taping and bracing of players in preparation of practice and addition the ATC/PT will assist with the management and coordination of travel ensuring the athletic training department is equipped with the adequate supplies needed while working away games. The ATC/PT will help with the injury documentation and management process through the clubs electronic medical record compliant to the standards required by the NFL. The employee will assist with the on field and sideline hydration and injury management on gamedays as instructed by the Associate Head Athletic Trainer. Finally the employee will assist the Associate Head Athletic Trainer with any duties or tasks as assigned to help with the coordination and management of player health.
This is a full-time position working from our Training HAUS location in Eagan and the Minnesota Vikings Campus.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science from a four-year college or University Recommended
- Recommended to have one of the following:
- Masters Degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE accredited program.
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from a CAPTE accredited program & Licensed Physical Therapist with successful completion of the NPTE exam
- Board Certified Athletic Trainer / Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) in Sports Physical Therapy or completion of an accredited Sports Physical Therapy Residency Recommend.
- Preferred 2 years of certified athletic training/physical therapy experience working Power 4 collegiate football or in the NFL.
- Eligible for licensure to practice in the state of Minnesota.
- CPR and first-aid certification for the professional rescuer.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities.
