This role is responsible for planning directing and overseeing all activities within the Clinical Solutions department. The Director provides strategic managerial and technical leadership while ensuring alignment with organizational values goals and operational priorities.
The position supports a large complex enterprise information systems environment and focuses on delivering high-quality reliable clinical technology solutions. This leader will guide teams through change optimization and stabilization efforts while maintaining strong partnerships across clinical IT and vendor stakeholders.
The Director of Clinical Solutions reports to the System Executive of Clinical Solutions and plays a key role in ensuring effective service delivery operational excellence and positive customer experiences.
Lead and oversee Clinical Solutions strategy execution and operations
Manage and mentor IT managers and technical teams while maintaining high engagement and morale
Define strategic priorities develop actionable roadmaps and ensure alignment across programs
Partner effectively with business leaders IT leadership and external vendors
Lead complex cross-functional initiatives and enterprise-level projects
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality clinical technology services
Drive innovation collaboration accountability and customer-focused outcomes
Support large-scale EHR initiatives including Epic implementations and optimization
Bachelors degree in Computer Science a clinical discipline or a related field (or equivalent experience)
10 years of progressive experience managing large complex corporate information systems
Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments including mainframe midrange and distributed systems
Advanced application development and systems design expertise
Proven ability to lead and deliver complex enterprise-wide initiatives
Strong technical problem-solving skills at an enterprise level
Demonstrated experience building mentoring and leading high-performing technical teams
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
Experience supporting IT managers and teams while balancing execution and morale
Ability to co-create strategy prioritize initiatives and drive execution
Strong partnership mindset with business IT and vendor stakeholders
Track record of managing complex cross-functional projects
Positive solutions-oriented leadership style
Experience leading teams through transformation optimization and stabilization
Experience overseeing one or more of the following domains:

Experience with Epic or other major EHR platforms
