Therefore we seek to hire individuals who demonstrate a mindset and skill set that prioritizes cultural competence equity and justice in their practice with students and in their work with colleagues.About the position: Shady Hill School is seeking a Middle School Pickleball coach for the 2026 spring season. The season begins with tryouts on March 5 2026 and concludes on May 21 2026. Practices are held on Mondays Thursdays and Fridays from 3:155:00 PM. Games may be scheduled on Mondays and/or Thursdays. Coaches must be available at 2:20 PM on game days to travel with the team to away games.Specific Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with co-coach to plan and conduct effective practices and prepare for meets
- Foster a supportive inclusive and positive team environment where all student-athletes feel respected and valued
- Communicate clearly and consistently with student-athletes families and colleagues to ensure alignment and support
- Write thoughtful and constructive end-of-season report comments for each student-athlete reflecting their growth contributions and goals for continued development
