Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $45 $50 per hour
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult patients in critical care and emergency department settings. This role requires strong clinical judgment the ability to work independently during night shifts and proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records. The RRT will collaborate closely with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical standards and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities
Assess treat and monitor patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions
Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy aerosol treatments and ventilator support
Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation for adult critical care patients
Respond promptly to emergency situations including codes and rapid response events
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and accurately interpret results
Collaborate with physicians nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Document patient assessments treatments and outcomes accurately in EPIC
Operate troubleshoot and maintain respiratory equipment safely and effectively
Adhere to infection control standards safety protocols and hospital policies
Participate in orientation ongoing education and competency assessments
Provide coverage for scheduled night shifts including every-other-weekend rotations
Qualifications
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Experience in critical care and/or emergency department settings
Proficiency with EPIC documentation preferred
Strong clinical communication and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
