The Director Tax Reporting & Compliancewill be an integral part of our tax team a specialized subset within Group Finance. Our teamis responsible foroverseeing thetax andtransfer pricing compliance and strategy across all40 SimCorp entities.

Based at our headquarters in Copenhagenthis role offers an exciting opportunity to shapeSimCorpstaxstrategy and ensure compliance across our global operations.In this vital role you will adopt a proactive approach to managing tax reporting andtax governance.

Reporting directly to theGlobal Head of Tax your primary responsibility will be to leadthegroup tax reporting functionandensurecompliance and efficiencyin the Group.

Position Overview

In this role you willleadthe team toensureaccuratequarter end andyear endtax reportingto our ultimate parentDeutsche Börse.You will manage the corporate income tax filing of the Danish entitiesandprovidean accurateforecast of the effective tax rate of the Group.

What you willbe responsible for

As aDirector TaxReporting & Compliance you will:

  • Manageconsolidatedtaxpositions including tax provisions deferred tax assets and effective tax rate calculations for SimCorp Group.

  • Managequarterly and annualconsolidatedtax reporting in compliance with IFRS standards delivering accurate submission to ourultimateparent Deutsche Börse.

  • Prepare and file thetax returns for Danish entitiesand joint taxation.

  • Drive automation of tax calculations and enhance reporting packages to improve accuracy and efficiency. Supervise tax computations and ensure complianceinthe subsidiaries.

  • Lead tax projects including implementation oftax technology and systems.

  • Developand maintain a strong tax governance frameworktoensure complianceacross the groupand mitigate risks acrossjurisdictions.

  • Monitor tax risks and manage developments in uncertain tax positions across the SimCorp entities.

  • Stay ahead of regulatory developments translate international and local tax law changes into actionable business strategies.

  • Build trusted relationships with finance legal treasury business teams auditors advisors and tax authorities.

  • Developa high-performing team fostering learning ownership and excellence.

What we value (our requirements)

ExperienceandEducation:

  • Minimum 5-7 years experienceinindustry and/orconsultancy with emphasis on working with multinational groups

  • Relevant education in such areas asaccountingtaxationeconomist or education from tax administration or any combination thereof; professional qualificationsuch asCPAand CTA

Skillsand Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in tax accounting and reporting under IFRS combined with solid general accounting/finance knowledge

  • Good understanding ofDanishand internationalcorporate tax legislation

  • Strong analyticalskillsand goodwith numbers

  • Strong willingness to lead the group tax reporting area and drive the team to deliver accurate results

  • Act as an owner with a proactive approach to set directions make plan and drive improvements in the tax reporting area

  • Excellent communication skills and able to communicate complicated issues in a precise and concise manner

  • Collaborative teamplayer who can influence othersand the ability to work independently

  • Experiencein ERPsystems Workday and SAP is beneficial

  • Fluent in EnglishDanish is a plus
