Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Regional Manager the Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving assigned sales quotas within designated markets. This role performs a broad range of sales activities including prospecting relationship development proposal generation and deal execution while providing ongoing sales support in accordance with company policies and procedures. Target account channels include select Health Clubs College / University Recreation Centers Athletics and Student Housing. Additional channels include key Vertical Markets such as Hospitality High Schools Multifamily Housing Municipality Physical Therapy Active Aging and Studios. The primary objective of this position is to increase Matrix Fitness market penetration through consistent face-to-face engagement effective pipeline management and the successful closing of new and repeat business.
Responsibilities:
Sales Related:
Conduct outbound sales calls to prospect qualify and develop new direct business opportunities
Meet or exceed monthly targets for prospective customer site visits and new opportunity creation
Maintain accurate timely and complete data entry in the CRM including account activity contacts and opportunities pipeline updates.
Deliver guided product demonstration experiences for existing and prospective customers to support solution selling and drive new business
Regularly provide management with accurate reports
Meet monthly quarterly and annual sales goals
Collaborate with Regional Manager WC Team and Channel Managers to strategize and cultivate the territory
Follow all related procedures & policies
Attend periodic industry trade shows which usually require travel

Education:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus additional training or education such as an associate degree with combination of experience preferred
Bachelors degree preferred in relevant field preferred
Experience:
2 years of sales experience as a proven producer preferred
Sales forecasting and reporting capability required
Working knowledge of the commercial fitness industry; dues paying facilities or vertical market required
2 years or more of target account related or commercial fitness equipment sales preferred
Other Requirements:
Proficiency in Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook Internet Explorer required
Software experience with CRM (SFDC) Auto Sketch EC Design or similar preferred
Drivers license required with acceptable motor vehicle record for extensive domestic travel for customer site visits trade shows sales meetings etc.
