Overview
U.S. Physiatry is seeking a Provider Payroll & Accounting Analyst to support our physician and provider compensation processes. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting fundamentals and hands-on payroll experience particularly in complex compensation models.
Responsibilities
This position works closely with Finance Payroll and Operations to ensure timely accurate and compliant provider payroll across multiple entities and states.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and validate provider payroll including salary productivity bonuses and contract-based compensation
- Review and reconcile payroll data for accuracy before submission
- Support month-end close activities related to provider compensation
- Reconcile payroll general ledger and compensation reports
- Assist with provider contract tracking and compensation calculations
- Partner with HR and Operations to resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries
- Maintain detailed documentation and audit support for payroll processes
- Assist leadership with compensation analysis and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 3 years of experience in payroll accounting or provider compensation
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting and reconciliations
- Experience with multi-entity or multi-state payroll preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong Excel skills (reconciliations reporting analysis)
- Healthcare or physician group experience is a plus
