We are seeking a doctoral-level psychology intern who is eager to gain richexperience across a wide range of psychological and educational services within adynamic multidisciplinary environment.
About the Internship Psychoeducational Evaluations The intern will conduct psychoeducational evaluations under the supervision of licensedpsychologists and nationally certified school psychologists. Our diagnostics team works with school-aged and college-age students with a primary focus on learning and attentiondisorders as well as anxiety depression and other socialemotional will:
- Administer score and interpret a wide range of cognitive academic socialemotional executive functioning personality neuropsychological andlanguage assessments
- Conduct clinical interviews
- Write comprehensive evaluation reports
- Provide feedback to clients and families
- Work with both community clients and Groves Academy students
- Participate in weekly group consultation sessions and monthly departmentmeetings.
Groves Academy Student Support Groves Academy is the Midwests leading school for students with learning disabilitiesADHD and executive functioning challenges. The intern may engage with our schoolcommunity through: - Consultation with teachers
- Academic and socialemotional intervention planning
- Implementation of behavioral and socialemotional interventions
Additional Opportunities Based on intern interests and goals additional experiences may include: - Program-level data analysis for school improvement initiatives.
- Participation in research related to learning and executive functioning disorders.
- Collaboration with professionals across disciplinesincluding speech-languagepathologists tutors and psychologists.
Supervision & Training Model We follow a developmental model of supervision providing intensive support at thebeginning of the year and progressively increasing intern autonomy. Interns workclosely with multiple members of our diagnostic and student support teams. This is a hybrid internship with both in-person responsibilities at our St. Louis Parkcampus and partner schools across the Twin Cities as well as remote work viavideoconferencing.
