Concrete Estimator

- Experience estimating concrete scopes including foundations slabs walls structures and associated concrete work.
- Ability to build a concrete estimate from start to finish including scope review takeoffs pricing and final review.
- Ability to develop work plans and construction approaches for concrete packages.
- Experience printing and reviewing plans and specifications and assembling estimate files.
- Experience maintaining project lists historical data and vendor databases.
- Experience obtaining and analyzing subcontractor supplier and material quotes.
- Strong experience completing detailed concrete take-offs.
- Ability to prepare schedules and cost estimates as required.
- Ability to prepare proposal documents and scope narratives.
- Ability to attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed.
- Proficiency with estimating software such as HeavyBid.
- Experience with PlanSwift or similar takeoff software preferred.
- Experience with AGTEK preferred.
- Experience with P6 preferred.
- AutoCAD experience preferred.
Qualifications:
College degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of concrete or construction estimating experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements:
Must have a valid drivers license.
Must participate in pre-employment and random drug screening.
Subject to background screening.

We are seeking a Concrete Estimator with 5 years of relevant experience. This position is based out of our Herndon Virginia office. Candidates with a strong background in concrete estimating and a passion for accuracy and teamwork are encouraged to apply.
