Job Description

To ensure that assignedhousekeepingareas are kept clean and fully stocked. Service theassigned public areas tomeet the expectations of the Omni Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Stock assigned linen room closets at par
  • Empty trash as needed
  • Keepthe chute rooms clean and organized
  • Remove trays fromguest room floors and store in designated service elevator area
  • Clean lobby areas guest roomcorridorsand elevator landing areas
  • Complete guest request in a prompt andtimelymanner
  • Move furniture upon request
  • Strip linens in guest rooms as needed
  • Transport dirty linen from guest rooms to laundry chute
  • Ensure all lost and found items are logged appropriately
  • To ensure that the hotel lobbies are serviced throughout the day.
  • Service all mens and ladies public restrooms in lobby areas.
  • Service thepool deck areas.
  • Service the executive offices.
  • Service both mens and ladies associate locker rooms.
  • Service guest and service elevators and public escalators
  • Be familiar with guest scenarios and follow-up on all guest requests and concerns effectively
    adhering to the service recovery process.
  • To be thoroughlyknowledgeableHousekeepingMoments of Servicescenarios andexecute to standard.
  • Be familiar with all hotel amenities (to include Wireless Internet Select Guest Program Frequent Flyer Mileage ProgramLaundry Services and Omni Kids Program)
  • To be familiar with all hotel facilities (F&B outlets Business Center Fitness Center Concierge LoungeOutdoorPool Meeting Space Parking Garage)
  • To be familiar with the inter-relationship between the different departments (to includePBX Guest Services Housekeeping F&B outlets Banquets Sales Engineering and Purchasing)
  • MaintainFour DiamondStandards of guest service
  • Aid guests inlocatingother areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible)
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance;maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
  • Be pleasant smile and greet all guests using surnames when obtained
  • Be actively engaged with our guests.Identifythe needs of our guests and meet these needs aiming to exceed expectations at every opportunity.
  • Deliver personalized memorable guest experiences byutilizingthe Power of One
  • Perform other duties special projects as assigned by HousekeepingManagement

ENVIRONMENT and POSITION ANALYSIS

  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.Requires frequent bending and squatting.Lift carry and place objects weighing up to 50lbswithoutassistance. Push/pull objects weighing up to 100lbswithoutassistance.

TOOLS/EQUIPMENT

  • Two-wayradio cleaning supplies vacuum housekeeping cart.

  • Priorhousekeepingexperienceor other relevantenvironmental servicesexperience
