Job Description:
Are you a meticulous and analytical professional with a passion for laboratory work Contribute to our success by performing detailed analysis on oil fuel and coolant samples using a variety of manual and automated techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Sample Analysis:Perform analyses on batches of oil fuel and coolant samples using techniques such as ICP-OES Head Space GC FID/TCD GC-FID FTIR XRF Karl Fischer autotitrators discrete analyser automated liquid handling equipment viscosity and wet chemistry.
Sample Preparation:Sort and prepare samples into batches ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Process Improvement:Investigate and implement new laboratory process improvements as directed by the Analytical Services Supervisor.
Data Management:Accurately enter sample data and results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Document Management:Write and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) standards as assigned by the Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:
Relevant industrial laboratory experience or qualified to degree level in a scientific discipline.
Strong analytical skills with experience in various laboratory techniques and equipment.
Good understanding of COSHH Laboratory H&S practices and GLP.
Excellent attention to detail and adherence to SOPs.
Strong people skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Good communication skills
