What youll be doing

Reporting to the Senior Director Operational Excellence the Product Manager summer student will support the RESL (Real Estate Secured Lending) Operational Excellence team. This role focuses on Process mapping process improvements and updating frontline user procedures. The student will help ensure distribution needs are considered in RESL projects and will work with various internal partners to improve how RESL products are delivered.

How youll succeed

Work with internal partners This will include distribution channels retail operations adjudication business controls legal and compliance to support RESL initiatives.

Analyzing data - Conducting root cause analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement across the end-to-end RESL process. You will also support the development and regular review of dashboards and performance reports (KPIs trends variances) to proactively identify areas of opportunity.

Strategy Development - Help map current and future state processes and identify areas for operational improvement.

Process Improvement - Work with the distribution network to update frontline procedures and standard operating documents as needed.

Who you are

  • An undergraduate MBA or Masters level student graduating in December 2026 and beyond.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and willingness to suggest improvements.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills for working with different departments.
  • Willingness to learn about mortgages lending and process improvement.
  • Comfortable working with some ambiguity and learning new things.
