Anesthesia Technologist Contract
Location: Syracuse NY
Duration: 13 Weeks 03:00 PM 11:30 PM
Pay: $40 $50/hour

Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technologist to support surgical teams in a fast-paced high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Level 1 trauma centers proficiency with anesthesia equipment and a strong understanding of aseptic techniques. This role includes preparing operating rooms assisting with invasive procedures and ensuring all anesthesia equipment and supplies are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for anesthesia cases including invasive procedures

• Perform room turnovers efficiently between cases

• Troubleshoot anesthesia machines and related equipment

• Assist anesthesia providers with procedures such as arterial lines central venous catheters (CVC) and thermodilution catheter placement

• Apply aseptic and sterile techniques when setting up trays and equipment

• Maintain infection control standards for anesthesia supplies and equipment

• Restock rooms carts and supply stations as directed

• Support all surgical locations where general anesthesia is provided

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program

• National ASATT certification as an Anesthesia Technologist

• CPR/BLS certification required before starting

• Minimum 3 years of experience preferred particularly in a Level 1 trauma center

• Proficiency with acute cardiac cases highly preferred

• Knowledge of reprocessing methods aseptic and sterile techniques

• Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills:

• 35 years of anesthesia technologist experience

• Experience in high-acuity and trauma cases

• Familiarity with multiple makes and models of anesthesia equipment
