About the Project

ACCIONA will deliver a new 500 kV terminal station in Western Victoria. The project integrates major high voltage assets into the network. It includes Primary and Secondary system design across protection control and automation. The work supports one of the regions most significant grid developments. You will help shape safe reliable and constructible HV solutions.

About the Opportunity/Position

The Engineering Manager leads all design activities for the 500 kV terminal station. The role manages internal engineers and external consultants to deliver safe cost effective and compliant design packages. It reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and partners with construction estimating and client stakeholders. The focus is to guide multidisciplinary teams oversee design programs and secure approvals.

  • Lead Primary and Secondary design delivery
  • Drive program control and track milestones
  • Oversee consultant performance and compliance
  • Improve constructability and value engineering
  • Govern Safety in Design and design controls
  • Resolve technical issues with stakeholders

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Electrical engineering degree
  • Chartered or near chartered
  • 10 years HV substation experience
  • Strong protection and control expertise
  • Lead multidisciplinary design teams
