Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) ER Holding / Medical Telemetry to support a step-down medical telemetry unit. This role focuses on patients transitioning from higher acuity care and requires strong telemetry skills and emergency nursing experience.

Clinical Focus

  • ER Holding / Medical Telemetry

  • Step-down level of care from ICU

  • No ventilator or vasopressor support

Medication & Monitoring Experience

  • Continuous telemetry monitoring

  • Cardiac drips including:

    • Heparin

    • Cardizem

    • Amiodarone

  • Sotolol initiation

Scheduling & Work Expectations

  • Night shift: 3 12-hour shifts

  • Floating within the hospital required based on skill set

Required Licensure & Certifications

  • Active Tennessee RN License

  • BLS ACLS NIHSS (required)

Required Experience

  • ER Holding experience required

  • Minimum 1 year of EPIC charting experience

  • Strong telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
