The Project Manager drives profitability by leading multiple projects from concept to completion defining objectives gathering scopes of work communicating progress to stakeholders ensuring quality securing resources and coordinating teams to deliver on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project objectives from proposal/quote through completion.
- Plan and execute all project phases including labor scheduling material sourcing and budgeting.
- Develop implement and maintain project documentation with team members.
- Communicate project plans and updates to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead project execution to ensure on-time in-scope delivery.
- Identify and mitigate risks and challenges while supporting project team members.
- Monitor project progress to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Demonstrate initiative and proactive problem-solving to achieve project goals.
- Travel: 20% based on business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
- 35 years of experience in manufacturing project management or equivalent management experience
- 35 years of experience planning and directing labor and/or material resources
- Advanced knowledge of close-tolerance machining and metrology
- Understanding of hydraulic pneumatic lubrication and electrical systems
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and MS Project
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
- Experience with ERP systems preferably Epicor E11
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce
