The nursery is a well-established setting with an experienced caring team and a calm child-centred approach to early years care.

As Nursery Room Leader you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a room supporting staff and maintaining EYFS standards. The role suits someone who leads through example communicates clearly with parents and colleagues and values care and teamwork.

What Youll Need

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
  • Recent experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner in a nursery
  • Good working knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Ability to communicate clearly with staff management and parents
  • A caring consistent approach to child development and wellbeing

What Youll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your room ensuring safe and consistent practice
  • Support childrens learning and development in line with the EYFS
  • Guide and support practitioners within the room team
  • Build positive professional relationships with parents and carers
  • Maintain safeguarding health and safety and quality standards
  • Use everyday routines and play opportunities to support learning
