Job Summary
If keeping infrastructure alive feels like keeping the Springboks scrum standing this role is your next stadium. Our client is hunting for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer who can hybridjuggle Azure HyperV networks and onprem gear like a true South African tech gladiator. If uptime is your love language welcome home.
Own support and optimise a hybrid infrastructure stack across onprem servers Azure services networks storage and security layers
Keep the ecosystem performing by managing HyperV clusters HP Synergy backups patching upgrades and highavailability systems
Strengthen hybrid continuity by maintaining LAN/WAN/VPN Azure VNets NSGs VoIP and cloudintegrated environments
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years in IT Infrastructure Engineering with strong exposure to Windows/Linux HyperV HP hardware Microsoft 365 Azure AD and networking fundamentals
Confident with VEEAM storage tech failover clusters DNS Azure networking and hybrid troubleshooting
Solid understanding of ITSM practices system architecture and technical documentation
Qualification:
Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or related with advantageous certifications such as ITIL HP Networking Microsoft AZ104/305 Linux certs or Cisco CCNA/CCNP
