The role

This is arole that combines hands-on nursing with strategic leadership and team development supporting complex and intensive care cases while also leading your team to excel.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking the lead on ward rounds handovers and infection control creating a safe organised and high-quality clinical environment.
• Inspiring mentoring and developing nursing teams through coaching training CPD and regular feedback helping people do their best work.
• Working closely with clinicians nurses and PCAs to keep patients moving smoothly through the hospital and ensure care plans are delivered effectively.
• Getting involved in hospital projects quality improvements and accreditation work contributing to how the hospital continues to grow and improve.
• Being the key point of support for clients championing clear compassionate communication and helping the wider team deliver an excellent client experience.

About you

Werelooking for someone who:

• Is a Registered Veterinary Nurse with at least 3 years experience in the role
• Haspreviousleadership experience (formal or informal)
• Is confident working independently and making sound clinical decisions
• Thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment
• Is passionate about mentoring others and growing our positive team culture
