Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically manage and optimize raw material planning ordering and inventory processes to achieve critical service and inventory objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of raw material usage execute daily planning for web stock materials and implement standardization of planning processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain robust vendor management processes for accurate forecasting and timely ordering.
- Spearhead mission-critical projects to enhance raw planning inventory management and service quality including implementing rigorous cycle counts and loss reduction initiatives.
- Provide essential support for new product introductions and transitions to ensure seamless integration into existing processes.
- Efficiently resolve invoice exceptions and coordinate international orders through meticulous collaboration with relevant departments.
- Contribute to the optimization of sales order management and execute key inventory initiatives across the site to drive operational excellence.
- Oversee the daily editor schedule with precision working in close coordination with operations scheduling and engineering teams to prioritize critical items.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for the Material Planner position must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in scheduling planning or supply chain within the manufacturing industry
- Demonstrated proficiency in analytical mathematical organizational and communication skills
- Proven ability to take ownership of issues and drive results
- Capacity to initiate and lead change effectively
- Strong customer focus with the ability to anticipate and address customer needs proactively
- Competence in collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and execute overall requirements
- Proficiency in utilizing enterprise lean sigma (ELS) problem-solving tools including A3 Thinking or other lean methodologies
- Ability to work effectively with management and employees at all levels
- Experience in process documentation and improvement initiatives
