Bartender
Job Overview: As a Banquet Hall Bartender you will be responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests during various events celebrations and gatherings held at Deer Creek. This role requires a combination of bartending skills customer service and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and guests preferences
- Ensure the quality of consistency of drinks paying attention to presentation and garnishes
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests taking drink orders and ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of beverages
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner addressing any inquiries or special requests.
Knowledge of Products:
- Stay informed about the available drink menu including specialty cocktails beer wine and non-alcoholic options
- Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and the event theme.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
- Keep the bar area clean organized and well-stocked throughout the event.
- Dispose of waste and used glassware in accordance with venue guidelines.
Adherence to Polices and Regulations:
- Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages including checking identifications to verify legal drinking age.
- Follow venues polices and procedures for responsible beverage service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a banquet hall or similar setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of drink recipes mixing techniques and garnishes.
- Must be 18 years of age with a valid SMART serve certificate.
- Must be able to work evenings weekends holidays and have early availability for start times as per the event schedule.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to stand life carry heavy trays.
