Position Summary: GIP is seeking to hire a Vice President to join GIPs Emerging Markets investment team. You will evaluate and execute investment opportunities across the energy transportation digital and/or water and waste sectors with a primary focus on Latin America. You will be responsible for analyzing company materials providing key insights into the economic impact of infrastructure investments developing an investment thesis across emerging technologies and forecasting financial performance of prospective investments. You are an integral part of the due diligence process managing third party advisors reviewing proprietary financial models arranging debt financing and supporting negotiation of commercial and legal contracts. You will work closely with Analysts and Associates to develop the team and provide guidance as they support the investment process.
More specifically you will actively oversee and provide direction on new platform investments add-on investments divestitures and related financings including but not limited to the following:
