Schedule: Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM (5 8-hour shifts)

Pay Rate: $20 $30 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Dental Assistant to support clinical and administrative operations in a fast-paced dental setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality chairside assistance ensure patient comfort and maintain compliance with infection control and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance to dentists during dental procedures
Prepare maintain and update patient charts using an EMR system
Take and process digital radiographs; maintain radiology equipment
Monitor and manage dental supply inventory
Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments answering phone calls and greeting patients
Clean and sanitize examination rooms after each patient in accordance with infection control protocols
Reassure and support patients throughout their treatment experience
Foster positive working relationships with staff and patients
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Adhere to organizational policies standards and professional conduct expectations

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Certification: Completion of a Dental Assistant Training Program
Licensure: Valid New Jersey Dental Radiology License required
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant
