Job Summary:
Organizesmaintains and disposes of paper and electronic recordsin accordance withfederal regulations and agency procedures (e.g. DOE O 481.1E DOE O 483.1B DOE P 485.1A). Develops and implements efficient filing systems and ensures data integrity and accessibility.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Organize maintain and dispose of paper and electronic records
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and agency procedures (e.g. DOE Orders)
- Develop and implement efficient filing systems
- Ensure data integrity and accessibility
- Train staff on records management procedures
- Conduct records audits and assessments
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED 3 years relevant experience in records management or library science
- Equivalency: Associates Degree 1 year relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of federal records management principles and regulations (e.g. NARA DOE Orders)
- Meticulous organizational skills
- Experience with electronic document management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
