Nursery Room Leader/Third In Charge (Level 3) Pre-School Room

The nursery provides early years care within a homely well-organised environment with cosy indoor spaces and a well-used garden that supports daily outdoor learning. This role sits within the pre-school room and carries third-in-charge responsibility working closely with senior staff to maintain consistent practice. Job Title: Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) Pre-School
Salary: Up to 30700 per year
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent full-time

What Youll Need

Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
Recent experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner ideally in pre-school
Good working knowledge of the EYFS framework
Ability to support staff and manage daily routines

What Youll Do

Lead the day-to-day running of the pre-school room
Support staff within the room and maintain consistent practice
Plan and deliver activities in line with the EYFS
Work closely with management as part of the leadership structure
Build professional relationships with parents and carers
Maintain safeguarding health and safety and quality standards
