Banquet Server

Position Overview: As a banquet hall server your primary responsibility is to ensure a smooth and efficient execution of events and functions held at Deer Creek. You will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to guests delivering food and beverages and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service.
Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Ensure a positive and memorable experience for all guests.
Strong customer and communication skills

Job Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age andhave a valid SMART serve certification.
Must be available to work evenings weekends holidays based on the event schedule.
Available in the fall and winter months.
Previous work experience in a banquet hall or catering service is preferred.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and life/move heavy trays.

Food and Beverage Service:

Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
Follow proper serving etiquette and presentation standards.
Set up banquet tables and buffet stations according to the event specifications.
Monitor and replenish food and beverage supplies during events.

Communication:

Coordinate with your event supervisor service lead and our kitchen to ensure timely service and any changes that need to be made.
Communicate effectively with other Banquet servers.

Adaptability:

Be flexible and adaptable to handling last-minute changes or requests during events.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment prioritizing tasks as needed.

Professionalism:

Always uphold a professional appearance and demeanor.
Follow dress code and grooming standards set by the banquet hall

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to health and safety regulations including food safety standards.
Follow establishment protocols for handling and serving alcoholic beverages.
