Job Summary

Description

  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced electronic systems to ensure continuous operational readiness in compliance with DoD standards
  • Conducting detailed diagnostics using specialized test equipment to identify component failures and execute corrective repairs
  • Reviewing and interpreting technical documentation schematics and system manuals to plan and execute maintenance tasks accurately
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and modifications ensuring minimal system downtime
  • Documenting all maintenance activities including repair logs and calibration records to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance

Requirements

  • Five plus years experience in an electronics technician role
  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in performing complex maintenance diagnostics and repair operations on advanced electronic systems in accordance with DoD specifications
  • Proficient in interpreting technical schematics wiring diagrams and technical manuals to accurately troubleshoot and calibrate electronic components using specialized diagnostic tools (e.g. oscilloscopes multimeters)
  • Possess an active DoD secret security clearance

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and predictive maintenance tools to optimize repair schedules and reduce downtime
  • Experience with lean maintenance practices and process improvement methodologies to drive operational efficiency
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to mentor junior technicians and effectively communicate technical issues to cross-functional teams

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
