What Youll Be Doing
You will join CIBCs Cyber Security Third-Party and Resilience Project Management Office (PMO) and play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives that enhance cybersecurity operational resilience and third-party governance across the bank. Working closely with Project Managers Scrum Masters and other stakeholders youll help coordinate a portfolio of projects and manage monthly financials from end to end. Your responsibilities will include supporting project planning monitoring progress tracking financials and facilitating communications to help deliver projects on time and within scope. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience positioning you for future growth into a Project Manager role.

How Youll Succeed
Project Financials: You will monitor project budgets track expenditures and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will assist with forecasting variance analysis and the preparation of financial summaries for management. You will identify and escalate financial risks or discrepancies in a timely manner. Strong Excel knowledge is ideal.
Project Coordination: You will support Project Managers and/or Scrum Masters throughout all phases of the project management lifecycle. You will assist in the development and maintenance of project plans schedules and documentation. You will coordinate meetings prepare agendas and document action items and decisions. You will Track project progress follow up on outstanding items and help ensure deliverables are met on time.
Tracking & Reporting: You will prepare regular status reports on project financials milestones risks and issues. You will maintain accurate project files and records in accordance with CIBC Enterprise Delivery Framework to ensure compliance. You will also support change management processes and documentation updates as required.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate 13 years of experience in project coordination preferably with a focus on financial management. You are familiar with project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) and have experience with tools such as Microsoft Excel and MS Project; experience with Planview is an asset.
