This position starts at $18.00 an hour on our 1st Shift 6a-2:30p Monday- Friday.

Responsibilities:

Put away pallets using a variety of material handling equipment and pull material from various warehouses located within 5 minutes of our distribution center.

Operate a small box truck for transporting material between the warehouse and distribution center

Expect to lift up to 80 lbs. and need to be capable of pushing/rolling pallets up to 1500 lbs with a pallet jack.

Be willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and work overtime as needed

Contribute to our culture of safety ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures

Qualifications/Job Requirements:

Truck driving experience is required. A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is not required but is preferred.
Must obtain forklift certification within 10 days of hire. Forklift training will take place during normal business hours
Willing to work in warehouses without heat or air conditioning. Our distribution center is climate-controlled; however some of the warehouse locations do not have heat or air conditioning.
Willing to work independently for extended periods. You may be the only person working in our warehouses outside the distribution center.
Basic math and computer skills will be required
Requires regular and predictable attendance
GED or Highschool Diploma

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to use hands to feel grab or operate objects tools and controls while reaching with hands and arms
Frequently required to stand communicate and listen.
Occasionally required to walk stoop kneel or crouch.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Able to perform repetitive movements
Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)
