Kendal at Hanover is a non-profit Lifeplan Community located in Hanover New Hampshire and is home to more than 400 residents and 300 staff. Our on-site Early Learning Center is licensed for 28 children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. We have an exceptional inter-generational program.
Kendal at Hanover is seeking aTemporaryfull-timeFloat Teacher(40 hours per week from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM) to work for approximately six months. Teachers at Kendal assist in the daily operation and coordination of the Child Care Center providing children with a learning environment and experiences to help their development socially intellectually physically and emotionally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:
- Interacting with children in a warm friendly and affectionate manner
- Responding to behaviors in a calm sensitive and supportive fashion
- Have meaningful conversations and interactions with children family and coworkers
- Assisting children as they explore their environment and interactions
- Assuring childrens basic needs are met daily
- Completing daily tasks including health safety cleanliness and documentation as needed
- Responding quickly and calmly in emergency situations following guidelines
Candidate Requirements:
Candidates must complete a NH/VT Child Care Licensing background check.
Pay:$19.25 per hour
