This role blends strategic marketing leadership with commercial management in a distributor-led market overseeing market strategy brand communication and supporting distributor execution. You will partner closely with the local distributor internal stakeholders across Marketing Sales Finance Legal Operations and Global Category teams as well as external agencies and retail partners.
Key focus: ensure that Dysons brand and commercial objectives are delivered through the distributor providing guidance tools and strategy to maximize sales profitability and brand equity.
Responsibilities
Distributor Partnership & Market Leadership
Own the end-to-end distributor relationship acting as Dysons principal representative and strategic advisor across LATAM.
Set the strategic direction for distributor-led marketing retail execution and sales initiatives ensuring long-term growth and brand elevation.
Champion distributor success by designing best-in-class training programs launching developmental resources and driving operational excellence.
Intervene and resolve escalated challenges in-market demonstrating autonomy and authority in decision-making.
Strategic Marketing & GTM Excellence
Architect and execute comprehensive Go-To-Market strategies for all categories dictating channel priorities and resource allocations.
Lead motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams holding them accountable for timely and flawless GTM launches.
Drive strategic alignment with regional and global stakeholders influencing Dysons overall market approach in LATAM.
Make high-impact decisions on positioning targeting and messaging pivoting quickly as market conditions demand.
Brand Communications & Campaign Management
Oversee large-scale high-budget integrated campaignsowning creative strategy media investment and execution.
Shape the narrative for Dysons technologies by building and nurturing relationships with influential partners media and agencies.
Set KPIs and own accountability for campaign effectiveness leading quarterly performance reviews and strategic optimization.
Approve and refine creative assets ensuring alignment with brand vision and local relevance.
Retail & Channel Management
Direct retail and channel strategysetting annual objectives performance standards and incentive plans.
Make executive decisions on product distribution trade activation and promotional investment maximizing ROI and market share.
Conduct high-level negotiations with distributors and retailers; resolve conflicts and drive compliance with Dysons standards.
Identify and approve new growth opportunities including category expansion and strategic partnerships
Commercial Leadership & Financial Stewardship
Own the marketing and commercial P&L in collaboration with distributor partners.
Set and control budgets lead annual and quarterly planning cycles and ensure profitability targets are met or exceeded.
Analyze and interpret financial and market data to inform major investment and resource allocation decisions.
Report out performance and recommendations to senior Dyson leadership; defend strategic choices and future plans.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
Act as the key liaison between LATAM global teams and the distributor influencing strategy and policy at the highest levels.
Initiate champion and implement transformational projects that drive operational efficiency and business growth.
Mentor coach and develop regional talent building succession plans and raising the standard of team performance.
Analytics Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Set the analytical agenda determining what success looks like for short- and long-term initiatives.
Lead post-mortem reviews across all major campaigns; drive a culture of data-driven improvement and learning.
Mandate actionable insights that translate directly into measurable ROI and increased competitive advantage.
5 years in senior marketing commercial or category managementowning high-value projects teams and budgets in consumer products technology beauty luxury or premium lifestyle brands.
Degree in Marketing Business Administration or related field
Strategic leadership proven track record directing integrated campaigns and distributor GTM launches.
Commercial acumen experience controlling significant P&L budgeting and resource allocation.
Executive presence skilled influencer and communicator at C-suite and partner level.
Analytical rigor advanced ability to interpret complex data and translate into strategic decisions.
Agility and innovation proactive in ambiguous fast-paced environments; known for driving breakthrough ideas.
Multicultural leadership demonstrated success leading teams and partners across multiple markets and time zones.
Fluent in English and Spanish
