Job Summary

Compensation
Gross Weekly Pay: $1943/week
W2 Rate: $18/hour
Weekly Stipend: $1295
Position Overview
The Surgical Technologist will support the Maternal Child Health and Labor & Delivery unit providing scrub services for Cesarean Sections and assisting with patient care activities when not assigned to surgical cases. This role requires flexibility strong clinical skills and the ability to collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe high-quality care for laboring and postpartum patients.
Responsibilities
Scrub and assist during Cesarean Section procedures
Support labor delivery and postpartum patients when not in the operating room
Assist with:
Vital signs
Room setup and stocking
Bed changes
Circumcision procedures
Hearing screenings
Delivery room support
Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control standards
Document care accurately using the EMR system
Collaborate with nurses physicians and ancillary staff to support patient care needs
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
Labor & Delivery scrub experience with Cesarean Sections (required)
Experience supporting Mother/Baby and postpartum patient care
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
Strong teamwork communication and adaptability skills
