Mazda of Fort Walton Beach is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on dealership or independent shop experience. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship efficiency and delivering a premium customer experience in a growing service department.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics maintenance and repairs on Mazda vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
Accurately diagnose mechanical electrical and drivability concerns
Complete warranty customer pay and internal repair orders efficiently and correctly
Utilize scan tools service information systems and digital inspection tools
Conduct multi-point inspections and communicate repair needs clearly
Maintain productivity flagged hours and quality standards
Follow all dealership safety compliance and cleanliness guidelines
Collaborate with service advisors and leadership to ensure timely vehicle turnaround
Stay current with Mazda technical training and service bulletins

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of automotive technician experience
Dealership experience preferred
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
ASE certifications preferred
Mazda experience is a plus but not required
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
