Job Description:
Reporting directly to the Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education (GME) this position is responsible for providing strategic operational and financial leadership for the GME Office. This position is an integral part of ensuring full compliance with ACGME requirements for residency and fellowship programs collaborating directly with program administrative staff (coordinators). Provides leadership to ensure implementation of the clinical affiliation strategic plan as well as development of business plans for the affiliation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in graduate medical education and a masters degree.
OR bachelors degree with ten (10) years of experience in graduate medical education.
One (1) year of experience supervising staff and managing complex administrative operations is required.
Demonstrated experience with ACGME-accredited programs and GME regulatory oversight
Familiarity with GME funding models such as CMS/Medicare DGME/IME regulations
Communication and other skills
Ability to communicate clearly with institutional leadership faculty and program coordinators
Skills in designing and implementing workflows policies and process improvements
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with accuracy and timeliness
Strong organization and time management skills
